THE New CITYWALK

Well, Today I just thought I do a little bit of exploring in this new shopping center which is kind of newly opened. As I did my usual shopping for new stuff that I don’t really need I came across this cool rack that is tailor made for the iphone. It’s called the Xtand I must say they made the product really useful for multiple positioning from verticle to horizontal.  I’m going to put this in the office come next week. The price really sucks though. At first I thought it would probably be about 150 HKD, But it turned out to be 298 with 5% off which I had to ask for to get it. Oh yeah, quick tip, most travellers think that bargaining is only appropriate at street vendors like lady street in Mong kok but I actually got this discount at DG Lifestyle store. Just ask them for it and see what they say. This is the first time I got a discount from this place. Well they should for the prices they are charging. Anyways going back, I think there was a show going on there or something but just seen this gorgeous young performer and I just can’t resist not getting a picture with her. Check her out.

Well I didn’t get a chance to talk to her much since she was in a rush to change and maybe getting off work.

Wish I had more time but hey, There’s always next time. It’s a small world after all. So aside from getting ripped off by DG Lifestyle for an expensive rack for my iphone at least I got this cool picture to show for it.

blogging hero

Since I’m still new to this whole Blog thing, I just thought to myself, Why don’t I get a good read and learn more about it. So I went to one of these book shops that specialize in IT related books, so I wasn’t really in there just looking for books about blogs since I don’t notice too many of those being publish.

I then took a look on the shelf of the book store and noticed a book that look something like the digitial patterns on Matrix. once I took a closer look it is a book called the ” Blogging Hero”

This is a book with interviews on 30 top bloggers found around the bloggosphere. I Just started on the book so i couldn’t comment much about it, but so far, i’m enjoying the read.

Will let you all know how it goes.

Art’s in HK

Well, just did some wondering around in HK again and happen across this giant dinosaur in CWB, HK

The interesting thing with this art piece is that it has a made in China logo on it’s belly and this giant red T-rex is stuck in a cage. After looking at it for a while I couldn’t really get what it means.

Hey! I’m no art critic and I wouldn’t really pay too much attention to it, but since it is bright red, there was no way that I’m not going to notice it. So I do what any curious young explorer would do, pop out my iphone and take a pic then blog about it in word press.

eifle tower?

Here check it out for your self, I also took some pictures of other art work that was displayed there and I just thought I share these with you art enthusiast. These pictures are taken at times square, a very popular shopping and hang out spot that most girls like to run into there friends at.

Clubs,lounges and Bars in HK

It always amazes me how clubbing in HK can cost so much. Let’s start at the beginning.

Once you get to the entrance, for most clubs, they will already charge you entrance fee. (Check out the link for a peak at what dragon-i is doing, They are charging entrance fee at a public space and they are caught on camera. dragon-i entrance fee

Once you’re clubbing of course you will not be satisfied with just that one drink they give you as complimentary. So for someone to get tipsy and have a good time I would presume your spending that night will run you about 5-6 hundred, depending on what you drink of course.

If you don’t live close by then there’s transportation cost, since the MTR stop running after 12:45am and don’t start again until 5:45 am. So unless you are out all night then you will have to resort to red top mini vans or taxi.

It’s pretty fun to go sometimes but I have a pretty good time in Shenzhen china as well, of course you won’t be going to the disco bars, but they have some good clubs there where they don’t believe in cover charge and the drinks are about 25% cheaper. Good night, really tipsy and cost about 300RMB only, and I’m talking about the whole night.

Good Luck trying to spend a good clubbing night without blowing a wad in Hong Kong!

I Luv Hong Kong!!!!
